From director Gene Fowler Jr. (The Rebel Set) comes "I Was A Teenage Werewolf" (1957). Starring a twenty year old Michael Landon (salary $1,000), this werewolf flick served as an early warning to the world concerning overly medicated teen-agers. Still, hypnotherapy and regression therapy can turn your young heartthrobs into lycanthropes. Twenty-three years later Ken Russell would revisit this territory with "Altered States". Though I am not certain that anyone ever considered William Hurt a heartthrob.
